For me I actively like it when people help Me out. I tell people who are closest to me that if they know what I’m going to say just say it. It stops the agony of stuttering and I just find it easier for all parties. If anything I find it more annoying that the person knows what I’m going to say but just sits there and sees me suffering not being able to get it out but doesn’t help. They aren’t being rude when they help, I genuinely think they are just doing what they think you want them to do. When I find a person who’s on the same page as me and regularly helps me out or knows what I’m going to say then I in turn seem to stutter less as I feel less pressure.
