Hi: I can empathize with you because I've moved from being a stutterer in middle school, to someone with a very light stammer as an adult that only comes out when stressed. I'm a college professor, so the problem for me is either when I'm really tired, or get stressed towards the end of class when everyone is putting their books away and trying to get me to stop talking so they can leave this causes my stutter to come back. And I"m an extrovert, so it's not social anxiety, but some brain wiring issue. The only thing I can do that helps is to talk much slower, which lowers my anxiety, and signals to others that it will be awhile. -My advice is to forgive yourself, and learn to love yourself, and this will lower your stress, which often makes a stutter worse. Hope this helps.
