From speaking to many pws and therapists who have clients who tried fluency shaping. Imo it's a flawed system because it teaches reinforces that stutters is bad and therefore if you stutter you are bad or at least doing something wrong (not explicitly but that's the messaging). But you're not doing anything wrong by stuttering. We are people who stutter.
