I agree with the message, but I would also point out that stuttering generally isn't something you can practice your way out of. Some people stutter less as they grow up or lose it altogether. My father had an extreme stutter as a teenager but now stutters on about 1% of his words. My stutter has always fluctuated around the same level, and I'm 28 now. But as to the message of victim mentality, I completely agree. In all aspects in life, that attitude won't get you anywhere. It's masturbating in misery. If you see yourself as a victim, you will be a victim.
