Do you stutter more when speaking your native language?

Do you stutter more when speaking your native language? I now work in an international environment so I have to speak english the entire time (it is my second language) and I've realized that I stutter way less when speaking foreign languages than in my mother tongue. ​ Does anybody else have this? Why could this be?
