Why aren't there more effective treatments for stuttering? I'm 14 and I've been struggling with this shit my entire life and I fucking hate it, I can't socialize worth a damn. i barely have any friends, everytime I try to interact with other kids I end up stuttering and getting stuck on a word and they give me weird looks and they stop wanting to be around me. It's like why the hell couldn't I be normal like every other child? why did I have to be the one to suffer? I've tried speech therapy and that shit doesn't help, and unfortunately there's no other treatment for stuttering so there's nothing I can really do. I'm just gonna have to accept the fact that I'll never have a girlfriend, get sex, or probably ever have friends.
