Masks and stuttering

Masks and stuttering Has anyone found the whole Covid situation and wearing masks with a stutter really difficult. I have had a stutter since I was 7, now 40 and despite being really supportive of wearing masks during the pandemic it’s been super hard. Being a stutterer I rely on my facial expressions if I get stuck saying a word and with my face covered up I can’t do that. Working in retail, you have an obligation to be happy and polite to the customers, sometimes I feel I am coming across rude and ignorant due to my difficulty to say words. Also I feel that not much has been said about this topic during the pandemic and would love to hear what other people think xx
