There was some podcast segment I heard on NPR, I think maybe it was The Moth or something, where a speaker who stuttered wanted fair accommodation and what he did was he wrote a speech within the time frame, timed himself speaking it at home where his stuttering was way down, and made sure the speech he brought to the event was a 5 minute speech for a fluent person.
