Was just diagnosed Lexapro for an unrelated condition. Anyone got experience with it?

Was just diagnosed Lexapro for an unrelated condition. Anyone got experience with it? A neurologist I was seeing determined that I have symptoms of GAD. He prescribed me with Lexapro (which I'm afraid of starting, due to a bad experience with Abilify last year). Posting here to see what people's experience with this has been. For some mysterious reason, my stutter has gotten a bit worse after the age of 19 (I'm 30 now), and I suspect anxiety may have a role in it.
