I was in the same boat about MEPS… Like I was absolutely terrified but its all straight forward and honestly its nice that you barely have to talk much there lol. They just look at your name tag when they need your name, and at the front desk you just give them your ID and they get you the name tag. For basic training , I think I will be good as really all I will say is YES/NO DRILL SERGEANT. Of course theres gonna be more talking in both but its very minimal and you confidence for stuttering will improve making you stutter less, even though I have heard of so many people serving many years successfully with a worse stutter than mine. Sorry that was a lot haha, but I went through the same thinking before meps, and now Im shipping off in 4 days! I know I will stutter, but they would not kick you out for that, if they yell why are you stuttering. Id say I cant help it Drill Sergeant, and they would probably say okay and walk away. Can’t technically discriminate you over that. Good luck in MEPS!
