I wouldn’t view it as a mistake, I personally view it as simply an unfortunate card in the deck of who I am. And honestly I feel like if I did not have my stutter, parts of me or maybe as me as a whole, would be a completely different person to who I am now. I rather like who I am now and others around me love and appreciate me for who I am (the longer you know someone the less they notice your stutter in my experience) and I’m sure they don’t view me as a “mistake”.
