awww, honey! don't be so hard on yourself. many people don't even have the courage to speak publicly, even without having a stutter. that alone is deserving of respect. concerning your prayer, chances are that the church audience didn't even experience it half as bad as yourself. so what? you stuttered, that's neither your fault nor any problem for the people listening to you. chances are, most people have already forgotten about it by the end of the service. we always pay much more attention to our own insecurities, and everyone has them. a good friend of mine once explained his stuttering to me like this: "It's like carrying your biggest fear, your biggest insecurity, right at the tip of your tongue and every time you open your mouth to speak, this insecurity becomes visible." And that is a difficult burden to bear, but it also means that once it's out, it's out. You're a stutterer, like so many people across the globe and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
