Something I’ve realized as a 38 year old man is that your family (in most cases) will always love you unconditionally. I have a daughter that’s 6 years old and when my wife tried to talk to her about my speech and explain why it was like it was, my daughter had no idea what she was talking about, she said she didn’t hear “bumpy” speech. It’s important to accept the fact that they don’t care how you talk, they just care about your personal well being and want you to be as comfortable around them as what they are around you. Happy birthday, keep your chin up, and go enjoy being 21!
