Fear can be viewed as good fears and bad fears. The good fears help us protect ourselves from dangers so it is a kind of protective instinct. If a person dwells in fear for a long time then that’s a problem. I stuttered all my life!! Before even speaking I used to imagine all negative scenarios that might happen resulting in a stutter which increased the anxiety. So whenever I’m nervous I used to reaffirm my nervousness into excited and I’ll keep saying that I’m gonna nail this speech because I’m so excited. So basically I’m changing my negative emotions to positive emotions. I’m converting my fears into excitement and when you are able to do this you will see a profound change in your speech. Also, you don’t stop fearing in order to stutter less!! It is the other way round
