Im pretty fluent at this point in my life, but that is still one of my worst fears. I generally don’t have a problem informally but having to go around a room where everyone introduces themselves is quite anxiety provoking. I generally do the “Hi, I’m ....” and that gets everything going. I also try to take a deep breath and talk a little slower.
