When explaining to someone who asks why I can't talk like them I just say I stumble over my words a lot and it takes a bit longer to get sounds and words out. Lots of people stutter or know of someone who stutters or once did. So don't be surprised if you end up talking to someone who understands you better than you think. Just tell people you have uncontrollably blocks on sounds and words.
