I'll admit, I've avoided forward facing jobs out of convenience meaning no cash register type jobs. In my past 15 years of professional experience, there have only been two or three times it was an issue and my boss told me to "spit it out". Beyond that one asshole everyone has been patient and kind to my face. If I start having issues in a conversation I'll pause, quickly say I have a stutter, and continue on. There may be impatient or short people, especially on the customer end of things. The #1 thing to learn in the adult world. Its NOTHING like the world of children. The vast professional majority will judge you on your character and your ethic, not the stutter. Don't let it hold you down
