Personally, at least, I often imagine my stuttering being due to a neural pathway, mainly because it has improved so much over the years. These days when I stutter, I just imagine that that sentence took a different neural pathway - the one with a stutter. To me, given the suddenness of your recovery, it does seem like a change in your speech neural network. Best to get things checked out. But hopefully things remain “changed” without any negative side effects. By all means, go wild and crazy and talk non-stop to make up for all the lost time. I remember last year a friend asking me to slow down because I was talking too fast, which I found quite ironic, given I grew up basically not being able to talk. Admittedly, I was speaking a mile a minute out of complete frustration about a once-in-a-lifetime type of personal situation. Definitely not my normal state of mind. Enjoy your new found freedom!
