I’m 40 years old. I’ve tried just about everything you can think of, including hypnotherapy. For me, it had no effect. And I’ve never heard a single credible story of it working for anyone else. You say you’ve been going to speech therapy. Is acceptance not part of your treatment process? If not, it should be. Learning to accept your stuttering and feeling comfortable in your own skin will go a long way towards building your confidence and self esteem back to where they should be. More self esteem and less anxiety often result in improved fluency overall.
