Sort of. You are assuming that I wrote out everything that is entailed in stuttering itself; there is simply too much about it to write in a brief comment like I did above. All I’m saying is that fear of stuttering manifests itself in stuttering. You will hate yourself and your stutter if you have a toxic relationship with your stutter. So far, because of the way you perceive “bad” stuttering experiences and the like, you have trained your brain to have a toxic relationship with your stutter. Creating a healthy relationship takes time and practice; you have to force yourself into uncomfortable situations where you (with your previous mindset) would hate to stutter, and when you do stutter, you prove to your brain that stuttering isn’t all that bad.
