We are living life on hard mode...

We are living life on hard mode... ... and we just have to accept it. This sub is great in general for discussing and helping each other out, but we as stutterers also need to take action to go forward in the right direction. We can't just get stuck in the endless loop of feeling sorry for ourselves and thinking things are unfair. Well, they are unfair. Obviously. None of us deserve to stutter. But we do, and we probably will for the rest of our lives. Full stop. We have to take action, much more than normal people, in order to combat our disability. We need to accept that we are at a disadvantage and work harder than others to make up for it. We need to go the gym, sleep well and eat well, study more than our classmates and work a little differently than normal people to create relationships with others. Focus on the things that aren't affected by your stutter and take it from there. Become the best version of yourself, setting aside the stutter, and I promise you that the person you like will notice you and that any employer will hire you. Because you are working so much harder than the others. And it shows. Since we can't express ourselves as well as others we need to show them by taking action. And that's just what stutterers need to do. We are living life on hard mode and need to accept it.
