Well… If I may… You might want to come to terms with the fact that you are going to appear awkward if you do a preamble… Or awkward if you don’t and stutter. My main message to you (or anyone) is that vulnerability is not weakness. The real weakness is in failing to acknowledge a vulnerability. There is power in ripping your guts out and laying them on display for all to see and still embodying the courage that they talk about but have little experience living. Whether we like it or not… we are all ambassadors of sorts and we better help people realize the difference between a stutterer and a person with a stutter.
