I know for many stutterers, and especially me, just knowing it and acknowledging it is really all you need to do. My stutter isn't me being nervous, weird, or dumb. It's a speech impediment and that's it. We're pretty normal otherwise, so no need to treat us any differently. How I want to be graded on a presentation is how I want to be treated: don't deduct me for my stutter, but don't go easy on me with anything else. It's really awesome that you came here to ask a question! You sound like a really caring person and not many people are like that :D
