I sort of know how you feel, although my stutter started when I was around 2-3 years old. I stuttered pretty frequently during my early childhood, but it gradually disappeared and I was completely fluent by the time I was in 7th grade. Then in 8th grade the stutter quickly came back and it was more severe than I had ever experienced it before, then around late 9th grade I experienced a few months of fluency again, but it reverted to severe stuttering again. Now I’m kind of in between with a more moderate stutter, but I still think back all the time to how much happier and more free I felt long ago when I didn’t have to worry about stuttering.
