I see what you're saying. There are times I do let it all out and it always feels weird when I do. If it starts to feel too weird I go back to hiding. The other day I was talking to a friend and usually when I talk to this friend, I don't stutter all that much. I realized as I was talking to him, I felt a stutter coming on. Rather than hide it, I let it out and let it happen. My friend didn't say anything or react in a bad way, but it still felt weird to me. Maybe it's the exposure. Maybe the more I do it, it won't feel so weird.
