I believe I'm likely one of those people you're referring to. Please know that my posts and comments come solely from a place of wanting to help. I really hope my encouragements don't come across as so rudimentary as "you just have to want to be fluent" or "your stutter doesn't matter." Improving or achieving fluency isn't easy. It's hard work. Hard work that is often predicated on finding the right opportunity. I believe, to my core, that allowing my stutter to dictate my decisions was more detrimental than my stutter itself. Please accept my apologies. I don't mean to minimize anyone or their journey.
