I dunno man, I once had a bartender try to cut me off because I blocked when I ordered and he thought I was drunk. I just told him I stutter and he felt so bad that one was on the house. If the bartender is worth their salt they'll be fine with it, and they'll probably remember your drink and ask you something like "same as last time?" or "the usual?" to help you feel comfortable.
