The theory to my stutter is do to infant brain damage. While being born. The umbilical cord wrapped around my neck. It tightened while I was being pulled by the forceps. The person carrying on the delivery was unaware of this and continued to try to pull me out with such force, that he would fall down from the strength he was using to pull. I began to slam my head against my carriers pelvic bone because I was losing oxygen and could not breathe. I had severe swelling on the back and top of my skull. So again in theory. I was slamming my head with such force it damaged both the back and frontal lobes of my brain. No X-rays, cat scans or anything else was performed to help support this theory. As being lower class my father and carrier could not afford such. The cerebellum is at the base and the back of the brain. The cerebellum is responsible for coordination and balance. The brain is also divided into several lobes: The frontal lobes are responsible for problem solving and judgment and motor function. My theory is also supported by the fact that despite many years of speech therapy. It has had little to no effect. My stutter returns to severe after 10-45 minutes after a session.
