Stuttering is a funny thing. The more you try to avoid it, the more it comes. The more you want to impress someone, the more it comes. The more you want to prove yourself, the more it comes. The more inferior you feel, the more it comes. I can go on. But the greatest thing I've realized is: THE MORE I CARE ABOUT SOMEONE'S OPINION OF ME, THE MORE IT COMES. It's the people who I want approval, validation, acceptance from the most, I also stutter the most with. Teaching my brain that judgement doesn't kill me has allowed me to stop seeking so much approval etc, from people while speaking. I now speak from a centered, grounded, calm, true place. When speaking comes from this spot, you no longer have a stuttering problem. My wisdom for the day.
