I didn’t have a stutter so to speak but I had OCD so bad I would repeat words out loud until they sounded right to me. With an uncanny amount of will power for a kid I taught myself to say them over again in my head instead of out loud because if I didn’t people would think I was nuts.  Try telling your brain you’ll say it right in your head and that’s all that matters and see if your stutter goes away. Also, I don’t think anyone cares if someone has a stutter these days. Be confident in yourself and do not be after aid to say what’s on your mind even if you don’t think it will come out right.  As for those that smirk or give you shit, who cares? That’s their miserable life to live. Don’t let others steal your energy with stupid shit to keep you down.
