Mindset One thing that I noticed about scrolling through the thread is the mindset that is very toxic to stuttering. As someone who has these issues, I experience a lot about what you guys are talking about. However, I'm sick of seeing a bunch of people not only on here but other sites as well, complaining about how terrible stuttering makes your life. It's really not that bad. Everyone has a problem, ours happens to be stuttering. Good. Feeling sorry for yourself is destructive no matter what it is, and will not help whatsoever. If you ever want to fix it, embrace it, don't let it define who you are. The first step to fixing this problem is coming to terms of what will fix it. In my opinion it starts with you. The only person responsible for your stutter is you and it is up to you to fix it. That's what helped me. Don't let anyone try to convince you that it is not fixable. Everyone has a path to fluency but it's up to you to find it. This is my opinion but, a good place to start is to become more disciplined. Start fixing other things in your life that will help your confidence and self worth. Get up early, work out, fix your diet. Find your passion and chase it, have goals and work hard. P.S. If some is making fun of you and/or mocking you. Look at the straight in the eye and tell them to fuck off. It will do wonders
