I'd prefer if you made the main character have a stutter but don't focus everything around it. Maybe portray how a person with a stutter would react to certain situations or how they would say certain things but don't focus the entire story on their stutter. I haven't read a single book so far where the MC has a stutter so this should be pretty cool. Good luck!
