If you like the girl you'd do better just asking her out and then seeing what happens. It's really hard trying to be friends with a girl that you like since you'll always want to escalate it beyond friendship. Just do it and see what happens. If it doesn't work then just ask out another girl. Sadly, it's a numbers game and it's better to know where you stand.
