I attended the course around two years ago. It is very intense and puts you way out of your comfort zone. We learned different breathing techniques and ways of thinking that was very effective for most of the attendands. I'm a mild stutterer, but many of us were severe stutterers, and the techniques helped alot to overcome the blocks. But it is not a cure. You have to put in the effort every day for the rest of your life, and regurarly talk with your assigned coach, to get the full benefit of the programme. The problem for me is that the techniques became exhausting after a while, more so than the stuttering itself. And I became more focused on how I talked, rather than the content of what I was saying. This lead to my anxiety actually increasing. Now I don't really do the techniques anymore, and I haven't contacted my couch for about six months.
