I found a hack!! Hello my dear fellow stutterers, I'm 25F and I stutter since I'm 7 or 8. My stutter goes from mild to somewhat severe, and since I got home back from abroad and started speaking in my mother tongue again, my stutter has been quite severe for now 5months, and worse since 2 months I'd say. OKAY so you see, when you feel like the word won't come out and it actually doesn't come out and you CONTRACT and force the word out? Yeah, stuttering right. Well I found a hack! When you feel that the word won't come out and you're about to say the word, WHISPER IT. Yes! Whisper the words you'd normally stutter/contract/force like crazy on! And then just keep going with your sentences at normal volume, until the next difficult word that you'd whisper. I don't know about you, but I don't stutter when I whisper. Try it out, you probably don't either! Yesterday I was able to talk with my friend on discord for HOURS, with this cute technique that made us laugh too! Little by little I found myself confident again into talking and I didn't have to whisper that many words, and just lowering my voice was working! I'm so happy about this, it's helping me a lot and it's such a relief that I can talk again, at least to my loved ones which I know they won't care if I have this weird technique where I whisper many words ;)
