My speech therapist has taught me several techniques to be proactive with stuttering. Easy Onset or prolongation is when you lengthen the start of your sentences to prevent you from stuttering during the sentence. Also using it when you feel a stutter come as can help as well. Light articulation is really just talking lightly but not to the point where you mumble. Speaking on exhalation is just exhaling before a sentence or a word like keys or gorilla. When you're in a stuttering moment you can use cancellation which is where you take 2 seconds to exhale and release any tension that has built up and going back into your sentence with easy onset or speaking on exhalation. These are what i use and i went from a very severe stutter in november to being almost completely fluent now.
