harlesc thank you for taking time for this reply. It has comforted me a lot . Currently , im doing a levels , and have chosen to pursue medicine career. Im beginning my journey to hopefully become a surgeon 👨⚕️ one day as biology and chemistry are subjects of my interest. I realize that being a surgeon is a difficult thing for even a normal person. Its such a stress inducing process. But for a stutterer , its stressful at its peak , but still i wont let this impediment effect my career choices .i had a dream of it as a kid .long before i even realized i had a speech impediment and how that would effect me I wont end up choosing a career that sounded easy to do , but i didnt like it. I also understand that everyone in this world has insecurities , if it wasnt stuttering for me , it would have been something else which i might have hated more than this. When these type of fearful thoughts hit me I usually remember this quote (since stuttering at this age of 17 yo means that its lifelong struggle ): “ITS NOT CARDS ♦️ YOU HAVE BEEN DEALT , ITS HOW YOU PLAY YOUR HAND” And btw how did you judge that i was knowledgable person?? Just curious ! Again thanks for the reply
