I think another angle to this is that YOU need to like/accept yourself even with a stutter. If you hate or are ashamed of your speech, and have trouble accepting that, it is difficult to ask others to accept what you cannot... Obviously coming to terms with it is itself a huge challenge, and not an easy answer if you just want some quick dating advice. But it fits the theme of general long-term relationship principles...gotta get yourself in order first, before trying to filter everyone else's qualities for them.
