I disagree. If you’re programming for fun, such as contributing to an open-source project, then you don’t necessarily need to interact with others, and I agree with that. The same goes for any hobby; take chemistry, for instance—if you’re doing it for fun, interaction isn’t required. However, if you’re programming professionally, it involves daily meetings, retro, and substantial communication, just like any other job. So what’s the difference?
