I used to have to do the same thing, so I know how much this sucks for you right now, but I also understand why she is making you do it. You are eventually going to have to be comfortable talking in front of a group of people, whether its for work or other daily activities. In regards to the people laughing at you, **** em. They are incredibly insecure with their own lives (I can tell you this from experience). Most of the kids that laughed at me in school are now losers with dead end jobs. I promise this gets better. Keep at it!
