I would go in with low expectations. Meaning, the sheer fact that you're willing to go on a date is already a win and you should be proud of that, anything extra is gravy. Don't feel like you have to compensate for your speech or that you're less deserving to be on this date. This is two people meeting each other and seeing what happens, that's it.
