Im in a similar situation, when I was 20 I could say at least a short sentence without noticable stutter, after a few years with therapy and speach doc (dont know the english term for that) sometimes I can barely say a single word especially in very stressful situations like reading things out loud in school or sth Anyway, i noticed that when Im surrounded by people I feel comfortable speak/stutter with, the first week or two are really hard to effectively talk to them, but over time I can focus more and more on the actual things I want to say without being afraid of laughter or without rearranging every sentence For me the best solution is to spend time with people who boosts my self esteem, so that I can keep that when they arent around I dont know, if this helps you, but thanks for reading
