well, i think there will be times where people may comment on your stutter or you may wonder if there was a level of bias because of it, but i think you can definitely do it if you want. similar to being a chemist, i think that being a surgeon requires a lot of technical expertise that is separate from your stutter. so, even if you stutter but you are an excellent surgeon, how would that pose a problem? i remember a stuttertalk episode where a guy on it was a medical doctor and he had a moderate to severe stutter, it was very inspiring. i really would never tell you or anybody else to compromise because of your stutter.
