I guess i don’t feel a need to ever get cured - I just like having very infrequent blocks. And, when I do have them, I feel good knowing how to move through it (make eye contact, look up/across when on phone). I’ve never been bothered by repetitions. Also, when my blocks were disabling, I usually appeared fluent - albeit strange, awkward, nervous, with poor timing and often nothing interesting to say (as I often simply gave up) I’m still some of those things, but its not bc of lack of control from dysfluency. Does any of that resonate with you?
