From my experience, making friends with normal people isn't easy because they prefer the company of other normal people and they can easily tell that you arent normal and usually are not accepting. I've had better luck with abnormal people like other disabled people, "creeps", "losers" and even "nazis". Sure they have flaws but they are ironically more accepting than normies.
