Hey, I'm 19, got my first job at 18. I applied for everything starting at 16 and got no jobs because I guess I didn't have enough experience and the others dealt with talking to people so of course jobs weren't going to consider me after the interview. At 18, I found a job at Best Buy, Merch Team. Been working there to this day, I'm actually in the parking lot right now waiting for my manager to come open the store haha. Basically working in the back. And I love it. I get paid more than all my friends and I work in the back essentially. I still have to talk to customers once in a while but when it comes to my section (Gaming) I'm totally cool on answering questions. I have difficulty here and there but once you get comfortable with your store and position. It's perfect. It takes time man! If there is a Best Buy in the area, I suggest working Project Team, Inventory Team, or Merch Team. Barely to no talking to people at first. Early morning shifts, like before the store opens.
