How has a stutter impacted your life, both positively and negatively? Hey everyone, I’ve had a stutter for most of my life now and I enjoy writing in my free time. Lately, I’ve wanted to write a (somewhat fictional) story about having a stutter to get others to understand this disorder more, and also allow a chance for me to tell my own story and *finally* have my voice heard. And it lead me to wonder about others experiences that I could discuss more in depth in this story. So how has stuttering impacted YOUR life- positively and/or negatively? If you’re willing to share, what are some embarrassing and/or memorable (good or bad) moments you’ve had due to your stutter? Thank you :)
