Yeah, it has been like that throughout my teenage and now in my twenties. There were so many occasions and opportunities for me to speak and enjoy my school life but I couldn't speak up and was ostracized often from other students. I was able to get into college because my stutter had gone away after years of practice but then it relapsed during the early phases of pandemic and has started robbing me of my happiness again. A few teachers of mine and some classmates understood my condition and are supportive while others either ignore it or make fun of it in whenever possible. A few months ago, I had a subject in which every student was graded out of 8 points in the basis of group discussion in every 3 weeks, the teacher I had at that time never gave me more than 3 or 4 points while noone else got less than 5 or 6 although my contribution was more than my other classmates. I had part 1 of that subject in the previous semester ( when my stutter hadn't relapsed) where my score was good enough to stand along with highest scorers of my college. In the end, I talked to another teacher who taught other group and joined his group where he scored me on the basis of my capabilities. Only those who have experienced stuttering or have some knowledge about it, don't separate us from others or frown at us. :_(
