Looking for some help Hi all! I'm looking for some information and thought this community may be able to help. My step son is 10 years old, and often gets stuck on vowel sounds in the middle or end of words. For example, instead of saying "Free" he says, "Free-ee" or "Say-ay" or "Lo-ong" etc. I'm not sure if this is considered a stutter, but it's something I've noticed for quite awhile. Both parents don't seem inclined to correct it, and his teachers have never said anything about it. I don't want to make him feel self conscious or insecure, so I've never said anything to him about it. Just curious if anyone knows what that is? He got some new books for Christmas and has been enjoying reading aloud to us, so that's what has kind of sparked my interest in researching information. I've found that this is kind of hard to google, and I haven't found anything online that matches what he does. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great! Like I said, parents don't seem inclined to help him with it, so this information is really for my own curiosity.
