Father separated when I was very young. Mother couldn’t take care of me so sent to me live in a boarding school all my childhood. The boarding school was a military run school where my 7 year old ass had to do military drills every morning before going to class and follow a strict routine everyday. I’ll kill to have a parent that wouldve friggin hugged me ONCE in my life. Id have killed to have a parent that cared to ask me how my day was ONCE in my entire childhood! It’s all about perspective. Being bitter is not only gonna hurt you, it will drive away people that are near you and trying to love you. Forgiving will make you feel much better, and it will make you appreciate the beautiful things that you HAVE right now , rather than focusing on what COULD HAVE……
